Join us at the Aiken County Historical Museum on Thursday, January 4th, at 2:30 p.m. when South Carolina Hall of Fame Chairman Dr. Rodger Stroup will introduce the “South Carolina Hall of Fame” video series. We have a kiosk at the Museum that gives visitors “snippets” of the lives of those remarkable people honored in the South Carolina Hall of Fame. Courtesy of ETV, the series that will start on the 4th present groupings of these people in a longer, more-detailed format. The series is broken up into eleven time periods. The first installment to be shown on the 4th (and repeated on Saturday, January 6th, at 2:30 p.m.) will be the “Colonial Period.” Learn more about the likes of King Hagler, Eliza Pinckney, Henry Laurens, Thomas Lynch, Sr., Arthur Middleton and Edward Rutledge.
The series is free and will show successive installments on the 1st Thursday of each month (and repeated on the 1st Saturday of each month) at 2:30 p.m.
